Appointments
and Phone Calls
Patients
are seen by appointment only.
Office hours are from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday. Each
ING physician has specific days for office visits and surgery. Although
every effort is made to see patients on time, our practice includes many
emergencies and lengthy operations, so there are times when long waits
are unavoidable. Please plan accordingly. We will make every effort to
inform you in advance and reschedule your appointment when emergencies
conflict with your visit.
Some
ING physicians see patients at several offices.
Be sure to come to the correct office for each visit. See the maps included
in this brochure for directions to the office that applies to you. When
you call, an experienced medical secretary or nurse on our staff will
answer your questions or refer them to your physician for a response.
If your call concerns an emergency, the secretary will contact one of
our physicians for instructions, or you may proceed directly to the emergency
room.
How
you can help make appointments successful:
-
You will receive
pre-registration forms, clinical questionnaires, and a financial policy
in the mail. Please
fill out each form completely and sign where indicated. Bring the completed
forms with you at the time of your appointment.
- Bring
your x-ray films, blood test results, and current medications
to avoid a delay in your treatment. Our physicians must view your x-rays
directly to make an appropriate treatment recommendation.
- Bring
your insurance card each time you
come to the office for an appointment. Your insurance card is necessary
to determine if pre-certification, second surgical opinions, or co-payments
are required and to determine if your insurance company will pay for
your visit. Please advise the receptionist of any changes in your address,
phone number, marital status, insurance, or primary care physician.
-
If you are unable to keep an appointment,
please let us know as far in advance as possible.
Prescription
Refills
Please access our automated prescription refill
line by dialing 317-396-1300 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00
PM, weekdays only. Prescriptions will be renewed only during these hours.
This includes prescriptions for pain relievers. Please plan ahead.
Quality of Care and Outcome Statistics
The highest quality of patient care is the goal
of ING, and you can help us maintain this high standard. You may
be asked to fill out a questionnaire following your office visit or prior
to surgery and to participate in post-operative phone interviews. These
are done to assess our goal of quality patient care and to assist in determining
outcomes of procedures performed. All questionnaires and interviews are
kept confidential. We greatly appreciate your help.
ING
treats all persons without regard to race, sex, ancestry, color,
national origin, religion, disability, or age.
