| Neurosurgeons
are doctors who have specialized training in the evaluation and treatment
of the nervous system of adults and children. This includes disorders
of the brain, skull, spinal cord, spine, discs, peripheral nerves,
and blood vessels related to the nervous system. Every neurosurgeon
in our group has extensive training and evaluates patients in all

Interventional
Neuroradiologists
have specialized training in the nonsurgical treatment of blood vessel disorders
of the brain and neck. They also treat some fractures of the spine.
Physiatrists
have specialized training in the treatment of neck and back pain, as well
as the rehabilitation of neurological injuries. Rehabilitation includes
treatment of spinal cord injuries, impairments from brain injuries, and
strokes.
Neuropsychologists
specialize in identifying the psychological effects of neurological disorders
including brain injury, infections, tumors, and dementia. Specialized
testing of children to identify emotional/behavioral disorders is also
performed.
Nurse
practitioners, registered nurses, physician assistants, and certified
scrub technicians
assist ING physicians in providing complete care to our patients through
evaluation, treatment, and follow-up.
